Reinier isa multi-faceted photographer with over
15 years of experience in several fields including commercial, editorial
and nature photography. His first experience with photography came
at the age of 16, when he got a Maxxum 7000 as a gift from his Dad.
Soon after entering college, he got his first images published in
a textbook on reptiles and amphibians. In 1996, he joined the commercial
photography industry working as a part-time photographer for an
advertising agency in West Palm Beach, Florida. There, he had the
opportunity to grow in the field of commercial photography, creating
images for several major advertising campaigns. Seven years later,
he relocated to Lakeland, FL where he started his own business in
photography & advertising. Today, he continues to serve several
clients and other advertising agencies with the images they need
for brochures, direct mail, magazines, newspapers & websites.
He has also explore other disciplines including fashion, glamour
and aerial photography. In January 2005, he became a weekly columnist/photographer
for one of TheLedger publications, Vision Latina. In his spare time,
he leads photography workshops around Florida, the southwest US,
Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. He's also a photography instructor for
the Polk Museum of Art and the Polk County Camera Club, where he
shares his knowledge through a series of monthly presentations and
field workshops. For the past two years, he had dedicated some of
his time to produce video documentaries and commercials as a way
to expand his services and learn the fascinating world of motion
pictures. He enjoys the challenges of the business and is always
willing to learn something new.
